"My husband went from showering once a week to sometimes twice daily.  He is more engaged with our family and opened to going back into the community.  It was worth EVERY penny!"

PERSONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL PROFILE:
Entering and exiting the bathtub, and transferring on and off the toilet had become difficult for this husband and caregiving wife, who worried about his high risk for falling. She needed a safe, fast and cost-effective solution.

THE HOME FOR LIFE DESIGN:

Cut the tub and apply an insert to create a walk-in shower feel. Add grab bars for stability and a bench to sit on, to reduce the risk of falling. Raise the existing toilet verses installing a new one with a toilet riser. All modifications in this home were completed in one day for under $2,000.
